The Association of Romanian Teachers in NRW, Germany, awarded the four Romanian students from Düsseldorf who took part in the “Me and Romania” competition, organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute, on Sunday, 10 September 2023.

During September, the winners of the international competition were selected from around 60 Romanian-speaking children and young people, aged 8 to 18, from 16 countries. Germany was represented by four students from the Sunday School of the Romanian Orthodox Parish “Holy Trinity” Düsseldorf: Sabina Micu, Gabriel Benga, Diana Mincu, and George Benga.

Grouped into three age categories, the participants were invited to creatively express their connection with Romanian language, culture, and identity.
